Death Notice | Cornelius Marinan Services for Cornelius Marinan, 84, of 2610 Victory Memorial Drive, Minneapolis, a former North Fond du Lac resident, were held recently at St. Austin’s Catholic Church, with burial in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Osseo. Mr. Marinan had been an employee of the Soo Line Railroad for 40 years before retiring. Born in Davenport, Iowa, he had lived in Minneapolis 27 years. He was a member of the Eagles Club and the Soo Line Veterans Association. Survivors include a son, John J., and a daughter, Mrs. Irene Lyneis, both of Minneapolis; a brother, Eugene, in California; 4 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
