  • Notes
    • Worked for Joseph & Feiss Co in 1926. She would bring home pieces of fabric and make them into quits. Carol Wilhelms still has one of these quilts.

      Dora visited Bermuda in 1923.

Embalmed by Edward H. Lindhorst and Sons Funeral Home.

Dora was engaged to Oskar Schorn. They had a fight and broke up. Oskar then asked Dora's sister, Elizabeth, to marry him. She accepted, and they married. Dora never married, but received a diamond from Joseph & Feiss Co. This ring was given to her grand-daughter, Mildred Schorn. Nobody recalls Mildred ever wearing the ring. Mildred gave the ring to her daughter, Joan, when she became engaged to Robert Christensen. Joan had the diamond remounted. Joan passed the ring on to her daughter, Lisa, who also remounted the diamond when she married Roger Moffat.

      Eastern Star member [6]
