Wedding Details | Kalamazoo Gazette, January 1, 1901, p. 4 Sloan-Corson By a quiet but impressive ceremony Miss Lena D. Sloan became the bride of William Corson of Middleville at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Sloan, on Seminary street. Thursday evening at 9 o’clock. In the presence of relatives and a few intimate friends Rev. Howard Murray Jones performed the marriage service. The bridal couple was attended by J. M. Perry of Middleville, cousin of Mr. Corson, officiating as groomsman, and Miss Bessie Kidney of Otsego as bridesmaid. Miss Lura Sloan, a sister of the bride sweetly rendered a vocal and a violin solo. The bride was becomingly gowned in a fawn colored silk and the bridesmaid in white brilliantine. The bride in her circle of friends is a favorite. Mr. Corson is a prosperous business man of Middleville, where the couple will reside. | |
