Death Notice | Tuesday, November 14, 1905, Toledo Daily Blade WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN BED Mysterious Demise of Miss Marie Painchaud ILL ONLY A FEW DAYS Had Rented a Room on the West Side-Lost Brother a Week Ago. Miss Marie Painchaud was found dead in a room at 435 Huron street last night. The cause of death has not been determined by the coroner. About a week ago she rented a room at this place, saying that she expected soon to begin work as a bookkeeper. Her brother, Henry, died about this time, and it is thought that this, with other troubles, made her despondent, for she cried much of the time and seldom ate much. Sunday she was taken ill and Dr. Randolph was called. Suspecting that she had taken poinson, he treated her stomach and left her some medicine. The physician called again yesterday, but did not regard her condition as serious, and he had left only about ten minutes when the landlady entered the room and found her dead. Deceased was 27 years of age and had lived with her mother at Fourth and Main streets. She is survived by two brothers. [3] | |
