Death Notice | Niles Daily Star, January 12, 1892 NEWS IN BRIEF Jerry Thomas, of this city, who died last week, was 71 years old. Niles Weekly Mirror, January 13, 1892 Notes of the Week Jerry Thomas, familiarly known as “Two-Finger Jack,” died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Webber in West Niles. Mr. Thomas has been a resident of this city for a long term of years and persued the business of filing saws, repairing guns, etc., and made himself generally useful in many ways. “Jack” was also an expert fisherman, and he had a large acquaintance. His funeral occurred from the residence at 10 o’clock Saturday morning. The deceased was about 67 years old. [3, 4] | |
