Death Notice | The Marion Daily Star, Marion Ohio October 16, 1909 LIVES MANY YEARS IN MARION COUNTY Born in Germany and Comes to America in 1852--Mrs. Schaber Is an Active Worker in the Reformed Church--Arrangements Made for Funeral Services Sunday. Mrs. Mary A. Schaber died of the infirmities of age at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Meinhart, No. 390 Park boulevard, Friday afternoon at 5 o’clolck. Mrs. Schaber was born in Leonberg, Germany, February 4, 1828, and came to this country in 1852 and moved in the country near Agasta. In 1857 she was married to Thomas Wittibslager, who died, and she was later married to Frederick Schaber in 1861. To the first union was born one son, George, of Agusta, and to the second union Mrs. Mary Meinhart, with whom she resided at the time of her death; Jacob Schaber and Mrs. Eva Thompson, of this city, and Frank and David Schaber, of Agosta. She leaves twenty-four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The deceased joined the Reformed church at Agosta shortly after coming to this country from Germany. During her eighteen years residence in this city, Mrs. Schaber was actively engaged in religios work. The funeral services will be held at the Reformed church, ?? South Prospect street, Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. F. E. ??? officiating. | |
