PT. AUSTIN GIRL THROWN FROM TRACTOR, DIES
Mary, the twelve year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Killbuzz of Port Austin, was fatally injured Saturday when she fell from a tractor which she was riding. She died within 30 minutes after the accident without regaining consciousness.
The accident occurred on the Copeland farm near Grindstone City. Frank Copeland was driving the tractor when the child ran to him and begged to be given a ride. When the tractor passed through the gateway it struck an obstruction which hurled the child to the ground, her head striking a rock, which fractured her skull.
    Kullbuzz is a sugarbeet worker.

Tractor Kills Child Near Port Austin
Port Austin, June 22 - A very sad accident occurrred Saturday when a little 12-year-old girl was killed by falling off a tractor on the Frank Copeland farm. The little son of Mr. Copeland was driving the tractor and in going though the gate they struck something that caused the tractor to lurch and the little girl fell off, striking her head against the machine. The child was the daughter of Mr. Kilbulzz, who came with his family from Pennsylvania about a month ago to work in the sugar beet fields. A particularly sad feature of the case is that this is the fifth child of this family to die within a short time.  [2, 3
