    Calvin Coristine, 31, a son of Mrs. Dillon Coristine, of Detroit, and cousin to many relatives in the Watford district, was struck down and killed while walking home from work, in a hit and run accident at Lansing, Mich., this week. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife and 4 year old daughter; also one brother and two sisters.
    The body was moved here Monday to Harper Funeral Home, where service was held on Wednesday with interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Brooke. Pallbearers were cousins; Orville Acton, Mac Fisher, William Coristine, Alex Coristine, Charles Way and Morris Collins.  [2

      State Hunting Hit-Run Driver;
      LANSING (AP) -- All police agencies in the central Michigan area have been asked to join in a search for a hit and run driver who left his victim on a Lansing Township road this morning.
      Killed was Calvin C. Coristine, 31, or Lansing. His body was found on Paulson Rd., Lansing Township, at four a.m. this morning. Ingham County sheriff’s officers estimate he had been dead about and hour.
      Skid marks extending 142 feet were found at the scene of the hit and run killing. Pieces of a car grille found in the area were identified by sheriff’s officers as belonging to a 1955 Buick.
