Koperski, aged 82, formerly of 1049 11th St. NW, a veteran of the Spanish War, passed away Wednesday evening at the Michigan Veteran’s Facility Hospital after an extended illness. Surviving are a son, Eugene of Grand Rapids, one brother Louis of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren, six greta-grandchildren. The deceased was a member of they Guy V. Henry Post, Camp 3 of the United Spanish War Veterans. Funeral Mass will be Saturday morning at 10 am in St. Albert’s Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Koperski reposes at the Derezinski Mortuary where relatives and friends will recite the Rosary Friday evening at 7 o’clock.
