Mr. Davis was born March 10, 1919 in Elkhart, Indiana, son of Earl and Lulu Davis and came to Kalamazoo at the age of 13. He was employed with the KVP Company for 17 years. Surviving are: his wife Gernett; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Anne Saline of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren, Ronald Earl, June Ilene, and Dawn Starr Saline, all of Kalamazoo; his mother, Mrs. Lulu Arnett; one sister and three brothers, Raymond Arnett, Mrs. Bernida Hall, Darrell Arnett and Bert Arnett, all of Elkhart, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday at 3 o’clock at the Langeland Memorial Chapel, Rev. Charles R. Hulbert of Bethlemem Baptist Church officiating. Interment, Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel.
