  Death Notice	Clinton Republican, May 3, 1906, p. 1 AFTER LONG ILLNESS Mrs. Elmira Kellog Passed Away Saturday Morning After an illness of more than a year of cancer, Mrs. Elmira Kellogg passed away Saturday morning at her home on Brush street. The funeral services were held at the house Monday afternoon, at 2 o’clock, Dr. James Hyslop officiating, and interment was made in St. Johns cemetery. Elmira Kent was born near Okemos, Ingham county, March 29, 1857. She came to Clinton county when about twelve years of age and made her home here most of the time since. Thirty-one years ago she was married to Edward Kellogg and to them were born nine children. They are Mrs. C. E. Robb of Shepardsville; Mrs. John Hefty, Mrs. Nicholas Michaels and Mrs. Clarence Keiser, of St. Johns; George, Ernest, Bessie, Blanche and Marion who resided at home. She is also survived by one brother, two half brothers and one sister. Mrs. Kellogg was a kind mother ans a Christian woman. She will be greatly missed in her home.
