  Death Notice	Elkhart Truth, July 6, 1960, p. 2 Services for Marion F. Davis, 43, of 2816 Kreighbaum, who died Tuesday after falling from a church steeple in Goshen, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Westbrook-Metz Funeral home. The Rev. Harvey Brooks, pastor of the First Church of God, will be in charge. Burial will be in Rice cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday. Mr. Davis was helping to repair the steepe of the First Presbyterian church when his swing apparently became unlocked. He died en route to Goshen hospital. He was a memeber of the Elkhart Moose lodge. He was born in Elkhart on July 4, 1917. His first marriage was to Mary Costello, in 1934. They were divorced in 1944. Her married Willie Mae Welk Oct. 1, 1945, in Oklahoma. Survivors with his wife are his mother, Mrs. Lulu ARnett, Elkhart; four daughters, Mrs. Wanda Cox and the Misses Shirley May, Betty Lou and Mabel Marie Davis, all in California; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Milo Christner, Elkhart, and Mrs. Charles Andrews, National City, Calif.; a brother, Claude, Kalamazoo; three half brother, Burton, Raymond and Darrell Arnett, all of Elkhart; a half sister, Mrs. Bernita Hall, Elkhart, and 10 grandchildren.  [2]
