Death Notice | AGNES W. TONSING BELLA VISTA Agnes W. Tonsing, 96, of Bella Vista died Jan. 2, 2001. She was born Oct. 11, 1904, in Oak County, Neb., to Henry and Elise Karspeck. She moved to the area in 1971 from Loveland, Colo., and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers, where she was involved in numerous church activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Tonsing. Survivors include two sons, Marvin Tonsing of Bentonville and Clarence Tonsing of Muldrow, Okla.; one daughter, Eunice Burd of Gentry; two brothers, Harold Karspeck of Goodland, Kan., and Omar Karspeck of Loveland; three sisters, Hilda James of Littleton, Colo., Ruby Tonsing of Holy Oak, Colo., and Edna Krebs of Bentonville; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers with the Rev. Julius Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. [1] | |
